Ditto Kids Issue Two: We're going to Mali!

We are so so thrilled and excited to reveal issue two's culture and value! We asked you all to play along as we dropped clues and finally revealed our word search and so many of you got it right! For issue two we will be learning about the culture of Mali and exploring our concepts through the lens of cooperation.  Issue two is full of gorgeous illustrations, learning activities, and dives into new concepts to help continue the important conversations we started in issue one.    Stay tuned for a deeper dive into both our value and our culture next week and thanks again for making this reveal so much fun!    - The Ditto Kids Team

Ditto Kids Books We Love: On L-O-V-E

Ditto Kids Books We Love: On Black History

Happy weekend friends! We wanted to take a moment to share a few of the books that we've been reading to celebrate Black History Month in our homes. We always try to center books that are -- 1) Developmentally appropriate for our kid's ages and emotional skills. 2) Joyous and uplifting of the contributions and legacies that Black history holds. Although we celebrate and honor Black History and Black culture year-round, we make a conscious effort during BHM to center books that highlight stories of Black excellence that sit outside of the more commonly told stories of enslavement and the civil rights movement.   We first found Alyssa through instagram and fell hard for her illustrations after just one peek at her immaculately curated feed.
